GAIA Vaccine Foundation's mission is to reduce the incidence of infectious diseases that disproportionately affect the under-served and promote the development of globally relevant, globally accessible vaccines that can be distributed on a not-for-profit basis in the developing world.

GAIA Vaccine Foundation activities are centered on four themes:

Education, Prevention, Access to care, and Vaccination

Through our active, ongoing collaboration with West African physicians and support for prevention-related clinical activities in the region, we work to improve the health of Malian children and their parents. Through educational programs, conferences, press and other media campaigns, GAIA strives to educate the public and, in particular, healthcare providers, about HIV/AIDS and the need for a global HIV vaccine.  GAIA focuses on educating people about the roles that community and individuals can play in advancing accessible health care for all.
